Sid El Saghir
Founder & CEO, Sportlingo
Hi there! Thanks so much for stopping by. My name's Sid, and I'm the founder of Sportlingo. I grew up playing and watching sports, so I know firsthand about the valuable lessons sports can teach — teamwork, discipline, dedication, and so much more.
But here's the tough part: too many kids are quitting sports, and when they do, they miss out on those lessons. That's why I started Sportlingo — to make learning and playing sports more fun, more accessible, and something kids want to stick with.
Before Sportlingo, I studied at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and built my career at 3M, Whirlpool, and Amazon, where I managed multi-million dollar sports brands and saw firsthand how technology can transform the way people engage with sports.
I also firmly believe that businesses have a responsibility to create positive change in their communities. At Sportlingo, that means building technology that uplifts every young athlete, not just the ones with access to elite programs.
If you've got ideas, questions, or just want to talk sports, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks for being part of the Sportlingo journey!
